Advanced Pumping

Many situations call for the use of advanced features. Your pump can be programmed so you can manage your blood glucose in complex life situations. In this class you will practice setting the pump using these features and learning which setting is best for which situation. You will also learn more about infusion sets.

This class is for people who are currently on a pump. Our diabetes educators Michelle Laranko and Megan Day teach this class. Both are familiar with all the pumps on the market and can help you with programming your pump. Michelle is a pumper herself and brings years of experience and wisdom to managing blood glucose and diabetes care. You can be in control of your blood glucose instead of it controlling you. Parking is available.

Covered by most insurances. Our Cooper patient advocate at The Cooper Diabetes Education Center works closely with each patient to understand the educational programs and educator that is right for them, as well as the most convenient time for scheduling. Our advocate will also guide you with the most successful approach to communicating with health insurance providers for DSME coverage. The care and support Diabetes Self-Management Education brings begins with this first phone call.
