Pain Management Forum


Dr. Daniel Gottlieb, a psychologist and therapist who is best known as the host of "Voices in the Family" on WHYY-FM, is hosting a panel discussion on pain management.

Each panelist will bring a fresh and unique insight to the topic. This will be followed by an audience Q & A.

Panelists include:

  • Brenda Byrne, PhD, a psychologist who has been practicing for more than 30 years. Originally with the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Program, she now treats people with both sleep disorders and pain. She is a longtime board member of the greater Philadelphia Pain Society and is its recent past president.
  • Michael Sabia, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, the Division Head of Pain Management, and the Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Cooper University Health Care. He is a pain management specialist who takes a multidisciplinary approach when treating acute and chronic pain. He sees patients in Camden and Voorhees, New Jersey.

Secure parking is available adjacent to the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. The CCIA parking garage can be accessed from Stevens Street and Benson Street. Normal parking rates apply.

Doors open at 4:30 pm.
