About the Presenter:

Dianne Hyman MSN, RN, OCN serves as the Transition Care Manager at MD Anderson at Cooper in Camden NJ. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team, overseeing the coordination of care of patients with complex cancer.

Dianne has more than 20 years of experience as an oncology-certified registered nurse and community educator. She has a passion for the underserved and works widely within minority communities educating and assisting with screenings for breast, cervical, prostate, colorectal, and lung cancers.

In 2001, Dianne noticed the disparities prevalent in minority breast cancer survivors. She was led to form Sister Will You Help Me?, a breast cancer support group for women of color and faith. Through the years, the group has provided support, advocacy, and education for newly diagnosed and long-term survivors and served as a place of hope.

Dianne has been recognized by numerous professional organizations for her commitment to nursing excellence, volunteerism, and service.
