Do No Harm: A Prescription Drug Abuse Symposium for the Medical Community


Overall Learner Objectives:
  • Train and educate physicians and the medical community.
  • Engage physicians and medical professionals in the prevention of the prescription drug epidemic.
  • Educate physicians and the medical community on the link between prescription medication and heroin abuse.
  • Discuss and develop best practices addressing the epidemic of prescription drug abuse and the rising levels of heroin abuse and deaths.

The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and all specialists. Residents, fellows, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other allied health professionals with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.
