Live Well With a Chronic Condition: Online Series


Cooper University Health Care is hosting a free, six-week, in-home webinar* (you can also call-in) workshop designed to teach people with a chronic condition - such as arthritis, diabetes, pain, and more - the skills for living a healthy life.  

Topics include:

  • Exercise and making smarter food choices.
  • Managing pain, fatigue, frustration, and medications.
  • Communicating with health care professionals, family, and friends.
  • Making decisions about treatment.
  • Problem solving.

The workshops will be faciliated by a peer leader who uses a variety of techniques including discussion, relaxation, brainstorming, and more. Peer leaders are either living with, or caring for, someone with a chronic condition. 

Participants will receive a workshop tool kit in the mail with a Living Healthy book, relaxation CD, exercise CD, and a booklet with self-test, tip sheets, and exercise illustrations. The workshops will be conducted live by online webinar. Instructions for joining the webinar will be sent to your email address once you have registered. 

*Sign up one time for this six-week webinar. The weekly dates are on Tuesdays and begin on August 4, 2020, and the following dates are:
