Webinar: Palliative Care, Medical Marijuana, and Symptom Management

At MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, patients are considered a survivor the moment they are diagnosed with cancer, and our team is dedicated to helping survivors live their lives to the fullest throughout their cancer journey. We offer a full range of supportive services to help patients manage their cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery and beyond, including educational programs that focus on wellness, quality of life, and health promotion. The Survivorship Program offers educational programs for the enrichment of all cancer survivors.

Join MD Anderson at Cooper's Samuel Hardy, MD, Head, Division of Palliative Medicine and Ashley Weinmann, MSN, FNP, AGACNP, ACHPN, Division of Palliative Medicine for an online event focused on the range of services available to cancer survivors through our Palliative Medicine Program. Dr. Hardy and Ashley will provide an overview of palliative care, medicinal marijuana, and common symptoms that may be related to a cancer diagnosis or treatment.

This one hour webinar will include a Q & A session at the end of the presentation. We look forward to you participating in this lively, informal discussion on palliative care.
