Chemobrain: Update and Management Strategies Webinar

MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is dedicated to helping survivors live their lives to the fullest after cancer. The transition to survivorship care is a positive step that focuses on wellness, quality of life, and health promotion.

The survivorship program addresses the physical, psychological, and educational needs of patients who have completed treatment. It focuses on identifying, preventing, and controlling any long-term and late effects associated with cancer and its treatment. The program is also designed to monitor patients for signs of recurrence or new cancers.

The goal is to help our patients live long happy and fulfilling lives.

Please join our cancer care expert, Andrea Casher, PsyD, for a one-hour session with time for questions and answers on updates and management strategies for chemobrain and the cognitive changes associated with cancer and/or its treatment.

Topics covered include:

  • What is chemobrain?
  • How do you diagnose it?
  • How do you manage chemobrain?

Dr. Andrea Casher will discuss these questions and more.

Dr. Casher, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, has worked at Cooper University Health Care since 1995 and has been the Director of Cooper's Neuropsycholgy Lab since 2003. She and her colleagues have been instrumental in the care given to our cancer survivors. Dr. Casher trained at Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. (Doctorate in Psychology).
