Community Resources for the Cancer Survivor


As a cancer survivor, you may be faced with a host of challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about where to turn. Fortunately, there are numerous programs, services, and resources available to support you on your journey.

Join MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper expert Lisa Mclaughlin, LCSW, MSW as she helps answer the following questions and more:

  • Are there transportation programs available to help me get around?
  • How can I find assistance with activities of daily living?
  • What resources can help address food insecurity so I have healthy food options?

About the presenter:
Lisa Mclaughlin, LCSW, MSW has worked in medical social work for over 25 years, most of those years working in oncology. She is a certified oncology social worker and is active with the Association of Oncology Social Work.  Lisa has been with MD Anderson at Cooper for over 13 years.
