Neurocardiology: At the Crossroads Between Stroke and Heart Disease


"Neurocardiology: At the Crossroads Between Stroke and Heart Disease" will provide attendees with an update on cryptogenic stroke etiologies and a discussion on carotid disease identification and treatment. Attendees will be able to identify who is appropriate for PFO closure, become familiar with Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO), identify the role of the implantable loop recorder in cryptogenic strokes, and discuss anticoagulation medications and use.

The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and specialists in cardiovascular disease. Physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, fellows, residents, medical students, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may attend.

Registration is required. Space is limited, so registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. No registrations by telephone will be accepted.
