The Diabetes Weigh

This five-part Diabetes Self-Management education program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for excellence in education. It is designed to give you the skills needed to manage diabetes and reduce your risks for complications. In the first class, you will meet with an experienced diabetes educator to develop an individualized diabetes care plan and a personalized strategy to reach your goals in diabetes care. You will learn how food, medication, and exercise affect blood glucose levels. We also work closely with your primary care physician and endocrinologist to meet your health and lifestyle goals. This will help you develop confidence in the day-to-day decision making for a healthier lifestyle.

We also offer an All Day Diabetes Weigh class that runs from 9 AM to 3 PM. This follows the same outline as the five week program.

The All Day Diabetes Weigh classes are scheduled for 3/27/23 and 4/20/23.

This program is covered by most insurances and free to people with Cooper insurance.

In addition, we offer free monthly support groups for people who have graduated from The Diabetes Weigh program.

You may participate in these sessions either online through the webinar, or in person at the Cherry Hill location.

To register for in-person or virtual classes, please call 856.321.0012.

Each date is a continuation of information. To complete the program, you will need to attend all five classes.
