Bone Health: A Talk on Osteopenia/Osteoporosis Risk, Prevention and Treatment

At MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, patients are considered a survivor the moment they are diagnosed with cancer, and our team is dedicated to helping survivors live their lives to the fullest throughout their cancer journey. We offer a full range of supportive services to help patients manage their cancer diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and beyond, including educational programs that focus on wellness, quality of life, and health promotion. The Cancer Survivorship Program offers educational programs for the enrichment of all cancer survivors.

Join Cooper University Health Care physician Dr. Melinda Ukrainski for an online discussion and overview of Osteoporosis.

  • What is Osteoporosis?
  • Who is likely to develop osteoporosis?
  • What are the risk factors?
  • Are there early warning signs to detect osteoporosis?
  • How can I lower my risk factors?

Dr. Ukrainski will discuss these questions and many more during our one-hour online presentation that will include a Q&A session at the end.
