Cancer Related Fatigue: Why am I so tired?


Cancer Related Fatigue is a common issue among patients undergoing treatment and can persist in survivors, for many years. Fatigue is one of the three most distressing issues affecting the quality of life in survivors.

Staci Oertle, APN at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper will discuss the following:

  • What is chronic fatigue and the symptoms associated with it?
  • What are the causes or contributing factors for Cancer Related Fatigue?
  • How it differs from other kinds of fatigue?
  • What can you do to treat and manage chronic fatigue?

This one-hour presentation will include a Q&A session. We look forward to you participating in this lively informal discussion sponsored by the Wellness After Cancer Survivorship program at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.
