Coping with Metastatic Cancer: Strategies to Increase Acceptance 

A diagnosis of metastatic cancer can leave you feeling lost and unsure. This webinar provides practical strategies for managing difficult emotions, fostering acceptance, and taking control of your well-being.

Join our MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper expert Dr. Sarah Fishman as she discusses Coping with Metastatic Cancer: Strategies to Increase Acceptance on Thursday, April 25 at noon.

During this free webinar:

  • Attendees will learn about elements of acceptance commitment therapy and meaning-centered psychotherapy and how these can be applied to coping with oncology-related concerns.
  • Attendees will be encouraged to reflect on and cope with holding opposite emotions simultaneously.
  • Attendees will learn about elements of meaning-centered psychology that may be applied independently to increase legacy-oriented activities.

It also focuses on identifying, preventing, and controlling any long-term and late effects associated with cancer and its treatment.
