Sun Safety and How to Reduce Your Risk for Skin Cancer

The days are heating up and we are already spending more time outdoors. Now that summer is quickly approaching, learn what you can do to decrease your chances of developing skin cancer.

Most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Join our expert Dr. Tara Jennings as she discusses sun safety and how to reduce your risk for skin cancer.

• The ABCDE rule for skin cancer
• What to do if you suspect you have an unusual skin lesion

About the Presenter:
Dr. Tara Jennings is the Chief Resident of Dermatology at Cooper University Health Care and is entering her 3rd year of residency. Dr. Jennings earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and attended the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She is originally from Allentown, PA.
