What to Expect When You're Expecting a Baby at Cooper
In recognition of Maternal Awareness Day, Cooper University Health Care invites expectant parents and families to a community program focused on What to Expect When You’re Expecting a Baby at Cooper.
The event takes place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Cooper University Hospital, One Cooper Plaza in Camden in the Conference Center 121 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and offers helpful guidance for those preparing for pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
The evening features Dr. Rori Dajao, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, who discusses partnering with your OB provider for a healthier pregnancy and delivery, along with registered nurses from our Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Fetal Care (Antepartum), NICU, and Mother-Infant units who explain what to expect during each stage of care. Doulas, lactation consultants, and members from our behavioral health team will also be available for questions and to share resources.
Attendees can explore pregnancy and postpartum health resources, enjoy light refreshments, enter a raffle, and participate in unit tours. The program highlights Cooper’s commitment to educating and supporting mothers and families every step of the way.
