The Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma (ASSET) training will allow law enforcement officers, EMS providers, and nurses to have a better understanding of hemorrhage control, insertion of intraosseous (IO) IV access, chest tube insertions, suture skills, central venous access, as well as basic anatomy with the use of cadavers.
