Cancer Prevention and Screening Update 2011


The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and specialists in hematology, medical oncology, and surgical oncology. Fellows, residents, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, oncology nurses, cancer registrars, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

Overall Learner Objectives
- Describe new screening modalities and review indications for genetic testing for high-risk populations
- Review recent advances in prevention strategies for the four most common malignancies in the United States

The Cooper Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
