Cancer Screening Guidelines: Clearing Up the Controversy


At the completion of this CME activity, participants will have a better understanding of the general requirements necessary for cancer screening, statistical terms used in the evaluation of screening programs, the sometimes conflicting screening guidelines for a specific disease site, controversies surrounding new recommendations for cancer screening, and strategies for reconciling conflicting guidelines.

Intended Audience

The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians and specialists in obstetrics and gynecology. Residents, fellows, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, oncology nurses, cancer registrars and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

Accreditation/Designation/Disclosure

The Cooper Health System designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
