Pediatric Psychopharmacology: A Primer for Primary Care


Conference Fee: $40.00 (Includes course syllabus and continental breakfast)

Overall Learner Objectives:
  •  Identify ADHD, depressive, anxiety disorders, bipolar spectrum, and disruptive disorders in the pediatric population and learn entry level and subsequent psychopharmacological management.
  • Apply into practice the current concept of the evaluation and management of autism spectrum disorders, and prescribe evidence treatments.
  • Identify safety concerns and controversial issues about antidepressant, mood stabilizing, and antipsychotic medications in pediatrics and practice “safe” and effective medication treatments for depression.
