Overall Learner Objectives:
- Identify ADHD, depressive, anxiety disorders, bipolar spectrum, and disruptive disorders in the pediatric population and learn entry level and subsequent psychopharmacological management.
- Apply into practice the current concept of the evaluation and management of autism spectrum disorders, and prescribe evidence treatments.
- Identify safety concerns and controversial issues about antidepressant, mood stabilizing, and antipsychotic medications in pediatrics and practice “safe†and effective medication treatments for depression.
