The intended audience for this conference includes specialists in emergency medicine, trauma surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, pediatric surgeons, pediatric intensivists, pediatricians, and pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians. Residents, fellows, advanced practice nurses, emergency medicine and trauma nurses, pediatric nurses, school nurses, pre-hospital personnel, and other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

- Describe current and emerging strategies in the pre-hospital, hospital, and post-hospital care of critically ill and injured pediatric patients.
- Identify strategies to improve the management of pediatric pain as reflected by maintenance of >95% patient satisfaction scores.
