Pediatric Update

The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians, general pediatricians, pediatric emergency medicine physicians, pediatric critical care physicians, hospitalists, residents, fellows, emergency medicine and acute care nurses, and advanced practice nurses. Other physicians with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.

Overall Learner Objectives

• Describe abusive head trauma
• Recognize common office pediatric dermatologic conditions
• Identify and manage the signs of depression in children and adolescents
• Describe the important aspects to follow the NICU graduate
• Recognize the presentation of pediatric surgical emergencies
